2017 - 2018 Fees

The fees for 2017-2018 year are $25.00. This includes a T-shirt, food and activities. We will also have several fund raisers throughout the year. One of our main activities this year is to produce and sponsor the Spanish Club Film. Plans are already in the works and some of the script has already been written.

Join us, get involved and have fun as we explore the culture, music and food of the Spanish Speaking communities. Last years film La cenicienta de Benton was a huge success. Remember. all proceeds from our film premier go towards the Maritza Tovar Memorial Scholarship Fun. In 2017, we awarded $4,000.

Is a student organization in which students explores aspects of the Spanish speaking world and cultures.  Students engage in various activities throughout the year including the school carnival, exploring cuisine from various Spanish speaking cultures, and producing films and music.

Over the last few years we have had the opportunity to produce numerous films. They range from oral hygiene to suicide awareness. As well our annual Spanish Film. We also help produce films for the Film Prize Jr. Festival, A high school film festival and the Bossier Parish I3 film competition.

2014 - 2015 Accomplishments

  1. First Place Idolo Dance competition
  2. First Place  Singing Competition
  3. Performed at State Fair of Louisiana, Hispanic Heritage Day
  4. Performed at Day of the Dead in Shreveport, Louisiana
  5. Produced “To Dream of a Crime”
  6. Produced premier party at the Bossier Instructional Center, Including cultural presentations. El Jarabe Tapatio and Malagueña Salerosa.
  7. Donated Funds to History Bowl Team
  8. Performed with ROTC at Shriners Christmas visit.
