Current Students Admissions

Current students are also encouraged to take part in the STEM Scholar program. Because this is a new program, the requirements for each grade is slightly different. If there are any questions, please contact your counselor, or any STEM advisor.

Current BHS Student Requirements to enter STEM:

Seniors (Graduation 2010):

  • Take Precalculus AP Calculus
  • Take Physics AP Chemistry
  • Take STEM Elective (Biology 2, Engineering Apps, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Participate in LA TechSTEP or SMART

Juniors (Graduation 2011) and below:
