Luke will be playing First Chair (Principle) Clarinet and Jennifer will play Third Chair Clarinet in the Advanced Orchestra. The Ark-La-Tex Youth Symphony is a 54-year-old organization that provides a great opportunity for talented young musicians from the tri-state region to meet and work side-by-side in a concert with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra in May. Members will also perform in two additional formal concerts in December and May. The ALTYSO is sponsored by the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and funded in part by the Shreveport Symphony Guild.
