Benton’s 4-H students won big at the State Fair!  Erika Anderson showed market goats, market lambs and commercial heifers, and won Champion Lamb Showman.  Beth Brakeville showed market goats and lambs, and made an $1100 sale at the Fair with one of her lambs.  She also won 3rd place in the Talent Show and 4th place in the BB Gun contest. Tristan Boatner showed market goats and made a $1400 sale with one of them. DJ Greer won Champion Heifer and Reserve Louisiana Bred in the Angus Show.  Codi Greer was Champion Division and Reserve Division in the Angus Show and made a $2000 sale with his steer.  Anna Whittington showed market goats and made a $1600 sale with one of them.  Chase Compton and Jake Harrell also showed market goats at the Fair.  Amanda Pittman won first place in the Bird House contest. BHS’s 4-H Club is sponsored by teacher Dan McClellan.
