The Octagon club is supporting a great organization called CancerCare for Kids through a program they developed called Cupcakes for a Cause.  The organization helps defer the cost of cancer treatment for kids, offers counseling for families with loved ones who are dealing with this dreadful disease, and any other assistance they can provide. The Octagon Club sold cupcakes for $2 on November 2nd and 3rd during both lunch shifts.   The Club would like to thank Benton High School faculty, staff, student body, and clubs as well as individual donors that helped make the fundraiser, CancerCare for Kids, a success.  Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the Octagon Club raised over $1600 to support CancerCare for Kids.  The Octagon Club is sponsored by teacher Peri Sandifer.
