The JROTC Special Operations Group competed in the Jimmie Blackmon Memorial Orienteering Meet at Eddie Jones Park in Keithville, Louisiana.  Five members of the LA 951 of the Benton High School AFJROTC competed with the following members placing in their respective events:  Chris Goetz, 1st Place; Nick Sewell 2nd Place; John Porter 2nd Place; and Clinton Camp 3rd Place.   This was the first meet in which the Special Operations Orienteering Teams competed in this year.   Orienteering Meets are sponsored by ALTOS, and are attended by JROTC Units from Bossier and Caddo parishes as well as surrounding units and schools that do not have JROTC units.
