A number of Benton High School students and faculty (including coach Trammel’s entire Benton Cross Country Team) participated in the "Race for the Cure" walk/run held earlier in October.  As a result of their participation and efforts, $1,000 was raised for breast cancer research. The program was sponsored for Benton High by teacher Peri Sandifer.
