Benton freshman score 27-0 win over Minden |

 Brandon Adams scored three touchdowns to lead the Benton freshmen to a 27-0 victory over Minden Monday afternoon. Adams scored on runs of 67, 12 and 15 yards. Taylor Ashton scored Benton’s other touchdown on a nine-yard run. Zach Howell kicked one extra point and Terrance Moore scored a two-point conversion. Moore and Lekelton Collins intercepted passes for the Benton freshmen.
Another defensive standout was Terrance Bratton. Minden scored an 18-0 victory in the junior varsity game. Jamar Sneed and Colby Harrington had interceptions for the Benton junior varsity. Garth Jeter, Alex Brown, Delanie Hall and Josh Player were defensive standouts for the Benton jayvees.

Benton High School has a long-standing tradition in football. Each and every year the Tigers are among the best in the 1-4A district and in the Louisiana 4A classification. Under the leadership of great coaches, the Benton Tigers put on a great show each and every Fall Friday night in Tiger Stadium.
