Bossier JVs, Benton freshmen win |

Dontae Thornton scored on a four-yard run and Brandon Adams scored on a 12-yard sweep to give the Benton freshmen a 13-6 football victory over Bossier Tuesday. Zach Howell kicked an extra point for the winners. Thornton, William Weems and Terrance Bratten were defensive standouts for the Benton freshmen. Verndell Winn ran 40 yards for the only touchdown for the Bossier freshmen. Winn had a couple of other good runs for Bossier in the freshman game. Antonio Raney and Mitchell Houghton were defensive standouts for the Bossier freshmen, now 1-1 for the season.
