Benton blanks Haughton in freshman jamboree |

Haughton was the only team that didn’t score two touchdowns in the Bossier High freshman football jamboree Thursday as Benton scored a 14-0 victory over the Haughton freshmen.
In other games, Bossier and Parkway battled to a 12-12 tie and Minden edged Airline 14-12.
Dontae Thornton ran three yards for one Benton touchdown and Brandon Adams scored the other on an 18-yard speed sweep.
Terrance Bratton and Lekelton Collins were defensive standouts for Benton. Zac Howell made two extra points and made two kickoffs to the five-yard line.
