ImageThe summer is going by as quickly as this past school year. Our fourth grade, eighth grade and high school students that have been involved in summer LEAP remediation will test June 27-30. I know they have worked hard and our faculty has done a terrific job of preparing them. Thank you all for your hard work!

The Louisiana Legislature approved Governor Blanco’s proposed pay raises for our school personnel. Our professional staff (certificated) will receive a $1,500 raise and our support staff will receive a $500 raise. Every cent is certainly deserved and we appreciate our legislators and Governor Blanco for their efforts to help our employees.

It is my hope that families are able to enjoy some much needed rest and recuperation during this summer season. Please be careful, especially when celebrating the Fourth of July holiday.

Our building program continues to move ahead. Signs denoting the locations of the new schools are in place and we anticipate a great deal of activity over the coming months. Thank you again for the tremendous support the citizens of Bossier Parish have given our school system. May God richly bless each of you!
