Brooks Davis found a new approach to his golf game when he began playing collegiately at Louisiana-Monroe. Now, the Benton High product has a city title to show for it. Davis followed his scintillating opening-round 63 with a final-round 1-under 70 to win the championship flight of the Shreveport City Medal Play Championship on Sunday at Querbes. Bryan Elliott shot Sunday's best round, a 66, to finish five strokes behind Davis. Casey Martin shot his second straight 71 and finished in third place. "It was a little bit tougher (Sunday)," Davis said. "The wind was blowing a little bit more and the greens were a little bit faster."
