Jamie Duncan received an award for the best “Letter to the Front” for Benton High School.  The award was presented to Jamie at the Bossier Parish School Board during the December meeting.  “Letters to the Front” is a program that involves students of all ages throughout the nation to support our Armed Forces deployed during the holidays.  High School and Middle School students write letters and Elementary school students draw patriot pictures for the troops.  All of the work is completed between the start of school and the 1^st of November each year. This is the second time Jamie Duncan has been a school winner.  She won the Benton Middle School “Letters to the Front” competition as a seventh grader.
