Benton High School SACS Accreditation Self-Study Report

DESIRED RESULTS FOR STUDENT LEARNING: PROBLEM SOLVING IN ORDER TO INCREASE MATH SKILLS
Louisiana Content Standards Foundation Skills (LCSFS):

 

Goal Statements:

A. Students will use a variety of strategies to improve reasoning, thinking, and problemsolving skills in math.
B. Student achievement in mathematics will improve.
C. Students will improve problem-solving performance in all areas.

 

Objective:

The math scores on the ACT, GEE 21, and IOWA tests will increase by the end of the fiveyear plan.
