ImageI trust you and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have been so blessed, even though our friends and families located in South Louisiana and the Gulf Coast are still experiencing a great deal of hardship. Please remember those less fortunate than we.

We want to wish our Benton High School Tigers the best of luck this Friday as they play Redemptorist High School in the state football semi-finals. Congratulations to Coach Downey, his staff and athletes for representing Benton and Bossier Parish in such an exemplary manner.

Our Board approved the bid for the renovation of the former BPCC administration building, which will be used by Airline High School for much needed classroom space. We are looking forward to that project being completed in the near future.

Our staff is working diligently to secure land for the three new schools that were approved in the bond issue. Hopefully, that process will be completed by the beginning of 2006.

Our first semester ends December 16, 2005, and our students are working hard to successfully complete the first half of the school year. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
