Benton High School’s “Fighting Tiger Marching Band” received an “Excellent” rating at the LMEA (Louisiana Music Educators Association) Competition held at Haughton High School on November 8th.  The “Excellent” rating was for both Marching and Playing.  The Tiger Band is currently under the supervision of directors Steven Hitt and Bill Causey while Benton’ s Band Director, Ted Beagley, has been serving with the Louisiana National Guard since Hurricane Katrina. Benton Marching Band students definitely rallied to the occasion!
