ImageBenton’s Debate and Drama students competed in the Caddo Magnet Tournament recently:  Coach Don Belanger’s Novice Debate Team of Thomas Greathouse and Brittany Branum won fifth place in Novice Debate; Alexander Parmater earned 3rd place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate; and Brittany Branum made it to the semi-finals in extemporaneous speaking.  Teacher Linda Robinson’s Drama students also did quite well, with Olga Georgia making the finals for Oral Interpretation and Lenise Stephens and Brittany Branum scoring Excellent ratings in the same event.
