Teacher Mona Russell is serving on a committee to review the GEE test to ensure that the questions on the test are relevant to what is being taught in the classroom, and that the test is free of racial or gender bias.  Teachers from all over Louisiana are involved in this process. The revised test will be field tested in April, 2006, and in June and July of 2006, the test will be bias-tested.  The committee will review the test results and make additional revisions if necessary, in an effort to make the GEE test accurate and relevant.
