 STONEWALL -- The Benton High School Tigers (5-3-1, 2-1) routed the North DeSoto Griffins 49-20 on Friday night. Lambert Tasby, with 93 yards on the night, scored on a 42-yard touchdown, while Aaron Adams rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Simon ran for 66 yards and a 16-yard touchdown. The visiting Tigers rolled up 434 yards total offense and capitalized early on turnovers by North DeSoto (3-5, 0-3), converting an interception, two fumbles and Tasby's long scoring run into a 28-0 first- quarter lead and an eventual 35-6 halftime lead.
