ImageOver 1,000 gallons of bottled water was collected from students and various organizations in the community.  The Community Involvement Program also received some monetary donations which were used to purchase additional bottled water for the drive and to provide school supplies for the new students from South Louisiana that have enrolled at Benton High.  On Friday, the group went to the Cypress Nature Park to visit many of the families from South Louisiana that are now residing there, and to play games and pass out toys to the children. The Community Involvement Program at Benton High is sponsored by teacher Michelle France.
