Page 4 of 4 A student assembly was held this past week on Truancy. Richie Jackson, Truancy Office Director, spoke to the students about the rewards of attending school everyday and the consequences of not attending. Chief Danny Dison also spoke to the students and introduced Benton High’s new Security Officer, Lt. Jim Matthews. “Officer Jim” as the students call him, told the students how pleased he is to be at Benton High School, and how much he looks forward to working with them.
