ImageBenton High School welcomes a new administrator, new teachers and para-professionals, and a new security officer for the 2005-2006 school year:

Assistant Principal:  Scott Carroway, former head of Benton High School's social studies department, is the new assistant principal at the school. Carroway, head track coach and assistant football coach, has taught at Benton High for more than 10 years.

New Teachers and Coaches include: Mona Russell, Science; Kyle Machen, Science and Asst. Football, Girls’ Track Coach; Darien Dukes, Social Studies and Asst. Boys’ Baseball Coach; John Fleming, American History, Psychology and Asst. Football, Baseball Coach; and Sgt. Dave Milner, ROTC Instructor.

Benton will also have the benefit of three new Para-Professionals in the Special Education department, including Mary Jones, Laurie Visosky, and Christian Flugium (who will also coach football).

Benton also welcomes Lt. Jim Matthews, our new campus School Resource Officer.
