Readers have voted on The Times' high school football player of the week each week during the 10-week regular season. Those 10 winners are now on a ballot for The Times' Player of the Year, as chosen by readers. Voting will continue online through Wednesday at 5 p.m. Ballots can be brought to the Academy stores in both Shreveport and Bossier City through 5 p.m. on Wednesday. In Week 9, Benton running back Casey Henderson won the player of the week honors. Henderson rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-13 win over Fair Park. Casey is nominated for the Shreveport Times high school football player of the year and needs your help to win. Vote online today (and tell your friends) and stop by Academy in Bossier to fill out your ballot. The winner will be announced in Friday's editions of The Times. [Click here to vote]
