Benton High’s junior varsity football team scored a 20-12 victory over Southwood Monday. Benton scored its touchdowns on a 15-yard run by Jeff Lang, a 10-yard run by German Thompson and an 18-yard run by Josh Stephens, with Murphy Colvin kicking two extra points. Defensive standouts for the Benton JVs, now 3-1, were Jacoby Thornton, William Weems and Colvin.
