At Zachary, Benton scored a first-inning run off Zachary pitcher Zach VonRosenberg, but the Tigers didn't score again. The Tigers' run came with two outs. Jake Harrell doubled for Benton and Ross Moore followed with a double to score Harrell. Benton's 1-0 lead held until the fifth inning when Zachary scored twice. A six-run sixth-inning helped Zachary to the win.
