At the Gator Relays, the Benton girls cruised to the easy win, and the boys came in a very close second. Benton finished 1-2 in the girls 800, 1,600, and 3,200 with freshman Kaitlyn Flattman winning all three events. In addition, Lauren Miller won the 100 hurdles, Cori Jenkins took first in pole vault, Becca Parnell the triple jump, and Hannah Cherry the javelin.

Among the highlights on the boys side was Emmitt Stephens winning the 100-meter dash at 11.17, Steven Dungan in the triple jump, Alex Brown in discus, and Justin Bolton in javelin.
