Pine Tree broke a 1-1 tie to take a one-run lead in the top of the fifth inning, but S.B. Youngblood put Benton (La.) up for good with a two-run home run in the bottom of the frame as the Lady Tigers downed Pine Tree 4-3 at Lear Park in the Lobo Classic.

Youngblood's two-run bomb to left-center field capped her 1-for-2 hitting performance. Benton's Bailey Woodward, who got the win on the mound, was 2-for-3 in the leadoff spot with an RBI triple and a run scored. Lauren Sattler went 2-for-2 with a run for the Lady Tigers (1-1), which lost to Marshall earlier Thursday.
