Add Parkway’s Panthers to Benton’s rapidly-growing list of upset victims in the final weeks of the 2007-08 basketball season.

Trailing 34-32 at halftime, Coach Tim Cram’s Tigers rallied to score a 72-66 victory over the Panthers at the Benton gym Tuesday night.

That dropped Parkway into a fourth-place tie with Benton in district standings going into tonight’s regular-season finales.

After a 1-6 start in district play, Benton is 5-8 going into tonight’s game with Bossier High at Benton. Parkway is also 5-8, while Northwood assured itself of fourth place Tuesday night with a 60-48 win over Woodlawn.

The fourth place team in the district has a chance for a wild card berth in the state playoffs.
