Haughton boys won two games and dropped a one-point deccision to Benton as the 2008 high school bowling season got under way at Holiday Lanes last week. Patrick Kinne of Airline turned in the top individual score with a 253 as his team defeated Parkway 24.5-2.5. Brandon Carr rolled a 229 for the Vikings while Phillip Barnette and Daniel Jenkins led Parkway with 204 and 200, respectively. James Clark and Logan Clark of Haughton had 216 and 201, respectively, as the Bucs beat Bossier 19-8. Reid Hope led Bossier with 216. Benton nipped Huntington 1-0 as Zach Jarrell led Benton with 217.
