High school wrestling in North Louisiana is apparently no longer a two-horse race.

In the annual Wrestlemania event at Byrd Tuesday night, Haughton beat Parkway for the first time since 1995 and Benton scored its first-ever victory over the Panthers.

Starting with the 171-pound match, Benton winners were Delanie Hall, Ryan McMillian (who needed only nine seconds to pin his opponent), Marcus Hudson, Casey Henderson (who had two pins in 32 seconds or less Tuesday), Mack Brown and Jake Harrison. The Tigers received four forfeits.

In their other Wrestlemania match, the Tigers rolled past Northwood 70-12, improving their season record to 12-3.
Haughton won three matches by forfeits and five by pins in its 48-36 victory over the Panthers.
