In a double dual meet at Benton, Benton beat Loyola 76-0 (only two points under the national record for points in a dual meet) and Byrd 54-24. Benton winners against Byrd, other than forfeits, were Zach Malone (130), Trey Elliott (140), Ryan McMillian (189), Marcus Hudson (215) and Casey Henderson (heavyweight). Henderson also scored a 13-1 decision over the only Loyola wrestler who won against Byrd.
