Southwood boys, Parkway girls win Benton titles |

The Southwood Cowboys overcame a 40-point performance by Loyola's Charles Winborne in a 72-69 overtime victory in the boys' championship game of the Benton Tournament on Friday night.
Jacoby Marshall led Southwood with 19 points and Louis Ellis added 15 to lead Southwood.
Loyola rallied from a 14-point deficit at the end of the third quarter to send the game into overtime.
The Parkway Lady Panthers completed an impressive run through the girls' division with a 71-62 win over Haughton in the title game.
The Lady Panthers played the tournament without returning All-City player Brittney Dukes, out with a sprained knee.
Plenty of Lady Panthers took up the slack.
Brittney Rogers led Parkway with 23 points and Miranda Thomas added 21, including six 3-pointers, and Alice Robinson had 16.
Tamara Marshall scored 22 points to lead Haughton.
Byrd took third place in the boys' division with a 51-36 victory over Cotton Valley behind Roc Chambers' 14 points.
Bossier won the third-place girls game, 65-51 over Benton. Shaquilla Smith poured in 25 to lead the Lady 'Kats.
Brandace Latin scored 21 points to lead Byrd to a 70-47 victory over Woodlawn in the girls' consolation finals.
Springhill placed three players in double figures in a 62-56 victory over Parkway in the boys' consolation finals.
Loyola and Southwood reached the finals of the boys' division with victories Saturday afternoon.
Loyola advanced with a 59-56 victory over Cotton Valley, and Southwood downed Byrd 64-62.
