RAK Shows Kindness

RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) Club members provided almost 100 brand new stuffed animals to children via the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Department and the Gingerbread House.  Sheriff’s Department Officers carry the stuffed animals in their cars to help calm children when they are called to the scene of domestic disputes. The Gingerbread House in Shreveport distributes the animals among children who have been victims of abuse.  RAK, which is sponsored by teacher Marlene Aversa, is to be congratulated on their acts of kindness.
