Congratulations to the Benton Tiger Marching Band for their Superior rating in concert performance and sight reading at the District 8 Choir and Band Festival.  The Superior rating qualified them for the State Music Festivals.  The Tiger Band is the only group in the state of Louisiana that qualified for both Choir and Band Festivals. At the State Choir Festival in Morgan City, the Benton Tiger Vocal Band received an Outstanding rating in concert performance and an Excellent rating in sight reading.  At the State Band Festival, the Benton Tiger Concert Band received Excellent ratings in both concert performance and sight reading.

Over the Spring break, the Tiger band traveled to Orlando, Florida, and received Excellent ratings in Vocal and Instrumental performance at the Disney Music Days Festival. The Tiger Band is directed by teacher Ted Beagley.
