Bailey Woodward got the job done on the mound and at the plate in Benton’s 16-1 victory over Mansfield. Woodward pitched a two-hitter and struck out eight batters (with no walks) in “Senior Night” at Benton. She also hit a double and home run to lead the Lady Tigers at the plate. Sarah Beth Youngblood had a triple for Benton, which finished second in District 1-3A and will enter the state playoffs Tuesday. Seniors honored were Brittney Malone, Jessica Richardson, Sarah Jones and Valelrie Carey.

Bi-District Playoff Game Set

The LHSAA has released the 2007 Softball Playoff Bracket. The Lady Tigers will be at home next Tuesday, April 17 to take on Rayne. Everyone is encourage to come out and support the Lady Tigers to victory.
