Softball falls to North DeSoto |

In the District 1-3A showdown at Stonewall, Meagan Pearson hit a walk-off home run in the eightgh inning to give North DeSoto a 3-2 victory over the Lady Tigers and the district championship. Pearson also hit a home run the previous week in the Lady Griffins’ 7-1 win at Benton. Courtney McDaniel was the winning pitcher for North DeSoto, improving her record to 17-12. She also hit a home run, and drove in the other two runs. The loss went to Bailey Woodward of Benton, which led 2-1 after five innings. Brittney Naron hit a home run for the Lady Tigers.
