Benton’s ROTC students competed in the Louisiana Tech University Military Skills Competition which included Color Guard and Physical Fitness events. The first of two Color Guard teams included Clinton Camp, Amber Hays, John Porter, and was commanded by Malissa Knowles.  The second team included Lacy Rains, Lauren Tull, Linsey Walls, and was commanded by Alexa Dempsey.
 
The Physical Fitness team included Brandon Balentine, Clinton Camp, John Porter, Chris Pilcher, Anna Guthrie, and Michael Drummond.  Two student photographers were also on hand at the event:  Cody Craft and Maradyth Whitten. ROTC instructors include Lt. Col. John Collier, MSgt. Tim Martin, and MSgt. Dave Milner.
