The Benton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 53 students into the prestigious organization at a ceremony held recently.  National Honor Society Officers administering the Honor Society Promise to “maintain high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character” were Brittany Bienvenu, President; Erin VanZandt, Vice President; Maggie Boggs, Program Director; Kelly Flurry, Secretary, and Sara Beth Russell, Treasurer. Benton High Principal Scott Smith addressed the inductees and the audience of parents, relatives and friends of the new members. He congratulated the students and their families on their achievement, and challenged them to maintain the high goals they attained for the rest of their lives.
