In a Wednesday opener, Benton’s Lady Tigers chalked up an 8-1 victory over Class 4A Northwood as both teams had seven hits. Benton played error-free ball, while Northwood had four errors. Jeri Wilson was the winning pitcher for Benton. Bailey Woodward hit a triple and Hannah Cherry hit a double for the Lady Tigers. |
