Scholarship applications are available for seniors who have a parent who is an active duty, retired, POW/MIA or deceased military member. Seniors with a 3.5+ GPA and a 23+ ACT can apply for the Robert C. Byrd Scholarship.

Seniors can also apply for scholarships from the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association, for sons and daughters of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel; the Louisiana AG Credey--Lou McGehee Scholarship for students planning to major in an agricultural related field (forestry, animal husbandry, ag-business, pre-vet, etc.); and the Louisiana Pest Management Association, for students who plan to major in life sciences.   All of these applications and additional information are available from the Benton High Counselor, Gary Feaster.
