Six BHS students and their sponsor, teacher Theresa Laws, traveled to Tall Timbers Conference Center in Woodworth, Louisiana, for the annual YACA Leadership meeting. State President Baygent Estes and Elise Randall, Ellie Boggs, Haley Scaglione, Hannah Colvin, and Brianna Jeter represented BHS at the conference.  This year’s theme for the meeting was “Leadership is Totally Rad!” and students dressed in 80’s fashions, teased their hair, and wore lots of make-up to get in the mood for the event.  The students participated in activities concerning leadership while teachers from around the state met to discuss details for the YACA Convention which will be held in Lafayette from April 30-May 2.
