BHS senior athletes with a 3.0+ GPA may apply for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.  Students can find more information on the award at www.wendysheisman.com.  Seniors with a 26+ on the ACT may apply for a Navy ROTC Scholarship.  Information on both of these opportunities is available from BHS Counselor, Gary Feaster.

LSU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs hosts the SPRINGFEST Minority Recruitment Weekend on April 25-27, 2008 in Baton Rouge. Students should be African American or Asian American or Hispanic American or Native American.  Applicants must be Juniors with a 3.5+ gpa and a 23+ ACT score.  See BHS Counselor Gary Feaster for more information.

Applications are available in the BHS counselor’s office for the Cloteal Monroe Annual Student Scholarship (C-MASS).  Selection for the scholarships is based on student academics, community service, and leadership.

Bossier Parish School Board education major scholarship Print E-mail

The Bossier Parish School Board Scholarship application is now available. This scholarship is awarded to students who will be education majors and will be attending a Louisiana college/university. The completed application with the required documentation is due at the Superintendent’s Office at the BPSB School Board Central Office in Benton by Tuesday, April 1, 2008.  Recipients will be contacted by mail by no later than April 28, 2008, of the award and they would be presented at the BPSB Board Meeting on May 1, 2008.
