Valentine’s Day Survey

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Benton’s Student Council is providing very special surveys for students to fill out.  The students who turn in their completed surveys will have the opportunity to buy professional print-outs from a data match company that will match them with the ten people at Benton High that are most compatible with them in their grade and the ten people that are most compatible with them in grades other than theirs.

Student Council Officers for 2006-2007 have been announced:  President, Alexander Parmater; Vice-President, Maggi Boggs; and Secretary, Samantha Harrison.  Senior Class Officers elected for 2006-2007 are: President, Alexander Parmeter; Vice-President, Daniel Core; Secretary, Haley Henbest; Representatives, Brittany Bienvenue, Erin Vanzandt, and Christina Mik.  Junior Class Officers elected for 2006-2007 are: President, Gabrielle Jenkins; Vice-President, Kelly Flurry; Secretary, Courtney Lang; Representatives, Sara Beth Russell, Brittney Branum, Clarence McShan, and PJ Harrington.  Sophomore Class Officers elected for 2006-2007 are: President, Colby Harrington; Vice-President, Wesley Adams; and Secretary, Julie Searing.  Teacher Michelle France sponsors the Benton High School Student Council.
 
Student Council attends LASC

Benton High Student Council officers attended a LASC (Louisiana Association of Student Councils) Conference in Lake Charles to learn more about organizing school spirit activities and fund raising events.  Attending the conference were Brooke Siem; Rachel Boogaerts; Maggie Boggs, Erin VandZant; David Watters; Alexander Parmater; Daniel Core; Christina Mik; and Samantha Harrison.  The Student Council at Benton High is sponsored by teacher Michelle France.
