The BHS Engineering Club is currently building six robots, which they plan to enter in a Robotics Competition later this fall. Anyone interested in working on the robots as a member of the Engineering Club should contact teacher and sponsor Marvin Nelson. |

Tiger Tech Receives $1,000 Donation |

The BHS Engineering Club, Tiger Tech, received a $1,000 donation from Benton residents and Tiger grandparents Ray and Marcia Nelson. The club will use the funds to support activities in the 2008-2009 school year, which will include hosting the 2nd Annual Northwest Louisiana Autonomous Robotics Competition for area high schools. Tiger Tech will also purchase sensors and other hardware and software to augment existing robotics platforms at Benton. Read more... |
