Benton High’s chapter of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) collected angels from the Pierre Bossier Mall angel tree, which is decorated with paper angels containing Christmas wishes of needy families.  The names of these families were distributed among SADD members during their weekly meeting and members purchased the gifts on the families’ wish lists and delivered them back to the mall for the needy families. This annual SADD program is greatly appreciated by the community and the  families, and is an example of one of the best BentonHigh School student activities.
