What is the Octagon Club up to? This organization is the high school division of the Optimists Club, and they are always planning and executing good will projects and good works. For the past three weeks, their latest project has been shrouded in mystery. Now, the Octagon Club mystery is solved! The surprise project they were working on this month was a goody bag for each and every teacher at Benton High. |

Octagon club sends necessaties to hurrican victims |

The Octagon Club gathered a truck full of items for the Red Cross at the LSUS shelter to help aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. The group gathered food, flip-flops, and other necessaties to make the stay for the victims a little easier. The Red Cross is still in need of baby toys, men’s and women's extra large shirts, and money donations.
