For the last 11 years, Sarah Brakeville has shown livestock at the Louisiana State Fair. This year's Ark-La-Tex Agricultural Council Junior Livestock Show and Sale, however, was her last. The auction started at 9 a.m. Wednesday and allowed 4-H and FFA students to present their stock and receive a premium for their hard work. The students select, feed and groom steers, lambs, broilers, goats or hogs for a year to be judged, graded and sold at the State Fair. "I'm a little sad," she said. "I'm going to be back, though.
