2008/2009 Tiger Girls Announced |

The 2008-09 BHS Tiger Girls danceline has been selected. The new members are: Ander Boggs, Makaela Brewer, Ashley Coker, Lauren Davis, Jasey Gilbert, Sarah Jones, Akilah Moore, Sierra Smith, Rachel Teer, and Haley Wilson. The Tiger Girls will select officers this summer at camp. The Tiger Girls are sponsored by Katye Hamby. |

2007/08 Cheerleaders Selected |

The 2008-2009 BHS Cheerleaders have been selected. The new Cheerleading Squad includes: Emily Bernard, Ellie Boggs, Taylor Cage, Kelli Crow, Danielle Dupont, Shelby Gibson, McKenzie Key, Madison Merriman, Madison Montgomery, Jana Otwell, Abby Ward, Carlee Ward --- Mascots: Maggie Brakeville, Emily Jones. The BHS Cheerleaders are sponsored by teacher Teri Hays. Congratulations to the new Benton High School Cheerleaders. |

National Honor Society elects new officers for 2008 |
|
The Benton High School chapter of The National Honor Society has elected their officers for 2008. Congratulations to the following new NHS officers: NHS President – Wesley Adams; NHS Vice-President – Cassy Rains; NHS Secretary – Natalie Georgia; NHS Treasurer – Kelly Flurry. The National Honor Society will hold an induction ceremony for new members later this year. |
