Algebra III / College Algebra

College Algebra - Dual Credit -1 credit (3 hours college credit)

This is a dual-credit course. Students receive 1 high school math elective credit and 3 hours of college algebra credit recorded on the college transcript. Topics include complex numbers; radical and rational equations; linear and quadratic equations and inequalities; absolute value equations and inequalities; lines and slope; graphs; inverse, exponential, and logarithmic functions; systems of equations and inequalities; conics; and applications. (Prerequisites: Algebra I, Algebra II, PLAN/ACT sub-score of 18, on track for TOPS, 11th or 12th grader, see Dual Enrollment Requirements)
