The Kitty Hawk Air Society Induction has been moved back from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM TONIGHT, Thursday, May, 16 in the Benton High library. If you have any questions or have not RSVP’d, please see Col. Collier.

There will be a mandatory boys soccer meeting TODAY, Thursday, during Channel One. If you are interested in playing soccer you must be at the meeting!!

Students/Parents: The Louisiana Department of Education has mandated that all cell phones be collected by test administrators during all high stakes state testing. Each teacher who is administering a high stakes test (GEE or EOC) has been instructed to collect cell phones, MP3 players, or any other technological device with imaging or text-messaging capabilities. These devices will be placed in zip-lock bags which will be pre-labeled with students’ names. They will then be placed in a container and locked in a filing cabinet or cabinet. Students will be asked to initial that they have turned in a device and that they have had the device returned to them. Devices will be returned at the conclusion of the testing period. Students will not receive any consequences for being in possession of these devices.

The Track and Field Banquet will be held tonight, Tuesday, May 15th at Benton High School. All track athletes and their families are invited. See Coach Plunkett, Carroway or Trammel for information.

Any girls interested in joining pep squad, please get a packet from Ms. Akin in room A-23. The mandatory parent meeting and uniform fitting will be held in the library on Tuesday, May 15th at 6:00.
The Lady Tigers Basketball Team will hold try-outs on Tuesday, May 15th and Wednesday, May 16th from 2:45 - 4:00. Please see Coach Ward to get a permission slip.
Boy’s basketball tryouts will be Wednesday, May 16th at 5:00 p.m. in the high school gym. Anyone interested must sign up with Coach Cram or Coach Bihm by Tuesday, May 15th.
